- Your first year’s membership of IAM RoadSmart
- On passing your Advanced Test, you’ll get a free Track Skills Day at either the Castle Combe or Thruxton race circuit.
Steve Parrish, former motorcycle and truck racer; now a motorsport television commentator says about RideUP:
“There are many skills to riding well on the road. Some can be copied from watching riders on the race track but I know from having done both, many aren’t – including your line through bends and dealing efficiently with traffic.
RideUP is a brilliant scheme which will let you into the secrets of Advanced Riding and make you safer on the road.”
Rob Barber, Isle of Man TT racer says about RideUP:
“I’ve ridden with TVAM members many times and I’m amazed at how quick they are in the wet. If I was starting out on the road again, I’d be signing up for this.”
During the COVID-19 virus lock-down all TVAM training has been suspended. However the RideUp Scheme is still open for applications so you’ll be all set to go once we can all go riding again. If you think you qualify for a RideUP sponsored course why not apply and get your riding ready to be tuned-up for 2020.
The scheme is open to anyone meeting the qualification criteria. If you want to join the scheme please follow the link below to register your interest.
If you’ve passed your A2 (or above) bike test in the past two years and are under 30 years of age then you could qualify for RideUP.
You will be asked to pay £100 deposit which will be fully refunded when you pass your IAM RoadSmart test. At that point, you will also qualify for the free track skills day.
